    • Oman: SQCCCRC obtains ‘JCI’ Accreditation

    Muscat:  The Sultan Qaboos Comprehensive Cancer Care and Research Centre has been awarded the certificate of international accreditation by the Joint Commission International (JCI).

    The certificate was issued after the centre succeeded in meeting conditions for international accreditation.

    JCI accreditation certificate is highly sought by health institutions worldwide due to its indepth and rigorous evaluation process that covers all aspects of a health institution’s system of functioning.

    The evaluation process comprises more than 250 basic criteria, along with more than 1,000 sub-components on measuring the quality and safety of a health service.
