Muscat: Oman’s Supreme Committee on Wednesday decides to suspends all official and private sports activities from tomorrow April 1 ,2021, until further notice.
In a statement OmanTv said: The Supreme Committee in charge of discussing the mechanism of dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid 19), within the framework of its continuous session headed by His Excellency Mr. Hammoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, followed the developments of this pandemic, measures to prevent it and ways to avoid its spread.
In the context of the dangerous increase in infections with the Coronavirus (Covid 19) in the various governorates of the Sultanate during this period and in order to avoid further spread of this virus among the community, the Supreme Committee decided to suspend official and private sports activities, starting tomorrow, Thursday, April 1, 2021, until further notice.
