Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Education (MOE) has issues a circular to suspend classes in some schools in Muscat on Wednesday

The Directorate General of Education in Muscat decided to suspend the study in some schools on Wednesday, January 5, 2022: “Due to the effects resulting from heavy rain and rise in the water level in the areas where some of the governorate’s schools are located, which resulted in the impact of these school buildings and the interruption of the roads leading to it, and based on the approval of the Emergency Management Committee, the Ministry of Education decided to suspend studies and exams in the following schools:

1- Thuraya Bint Muhammad Al Busaidi School for Basic Education (grades from 5-9) in the Wilayat of Bausher, Al Ghubra District, one day closed, and exams will resume on Thursday, January 6, 2022 .

2- Al-Ula for Basic Education (grades from 1-4), in the Wilayat of Bawshar, Al-Ghubra region, for two days closed, and classes will resume on Sunday, January 9, 2022.

3 – Faith Al Marifa Basic Education Schools (grades from 5 -10) one day closed, and exams will resume on Thursday, January 6, 2022 .

4 – Al Tawfeeq Basic Education (grades from 1-4) one day closed, and exams will resume on Thursday, January 6, 2022.
