

Muscat: The Supreme Committee in charge of examining the mechanism for dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) decided that starting tomorrow, Thursday. 28 January, 2021 until further notice
1, Ban all kind of group events.
2, Postponing the opening of direct education in universities and colleges.
3, Postponing plans for expanding of Hybrid Education in public schools.
4, Suspend the holding international events, activities and conferences in the Sultanate.
5, Suspend holding of local events and activities that require mass gatherings, including sport activities and exhibitions of all kinds.
The Supreme Committee also recommends that citizens and residents avoid traveling abroad during the forthcoming period, except in case of extreme emergency. it reminded all that many countries have imposed restrictions on travel and movement.
The committee also recommended restricting the dispatch of citizens and residents on official missions abrod.
