    • Oman Swimming Association launches “Road to Paris Olympics” program

    Muscat: The Oman Swimming Association has launched the “Road to the Paris Olympics” programme, an ambitious and enriching program that prepares Omani swimmers to reach the next Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

    The program is supervised by a specialized technical staff led by coach Mohammed Moez Al-Khiari, and it passes through multiple stages and is implemented for a period of (two years), and a number of the team’s swimmers who participated in Gulf, Arab and Asian championships during the last period and who achieved personal and Omani numbers qualify them to enter the competition for qualification cards for the upcoming Paris Olympics.

    The Road to Paris 2024 program includes the organization of 8 local championships and competitions at the level of the Sultanate of Oman, held in a number of governorates, and the establishment of internal camps in the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Bausher, as well as in the Sports Complex in Rustaq and Sports Complex in Buraimi, and an external Gulf camp that precedes participation in the Gulf Games that will be held in Kuwait on May 25 Next, 6 swimmers will participate.
