Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman and the Syrian Arab Republic signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of Air transport and reaching an agreement to regulate air transport services.
The MoU, which was signed at the headquarters of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) here today, reflects the fraternal relations between the two countries.
It was signed by Eng.Naif Ali Al Abri, CAA Chairman and Eng. Basem Mansour, General Director of the Syrian Civil AviationAuthority.
The MoU provided for allowing the national airlines of both countries to operate a number of regular weekly flights between the two countries.
