Oman Participates in Gulfood 2026 in Dubai

Oman Showcases Food Industry Investment Opportunities at Gulfood 2026

Dubai:  The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the 31st edition of Gulfood 2026, which kicked off today at the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with the participation of 195 countries and more than 8,500 exhibitors and international brands.

Khaled bin Sulaiman Al-Salehi, Director General of Marketing and Commercial Affairs at the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates “Madayn”, stated that the relocation of the exhibition to Expo City Dubai contributed to doubling the area of the Omani pavilion, which exceeded 330 square metres, allowing the participation of more than 25 Omani institutions. He noted that this marks the largest Omani pavilion participation compared to previous editions of the exhibition.

He explained that Madayn’s participation in the 31st edition aims to provide a qualitative contribution within ongoing efforts to attract and localise foreign investment in the Sultanate of Oman. As part of this participation, Madayn is organising a specialised event titled “From Factory to Table: Investment Visions for the Future of Food Industries.”

Al-Salehi clarified that the event focuses on investment opportunities in food industries, including prospects for growth and expansion in regional and global markets, strengthening supply chains and industrial integration, and enhancing efficiency across the production cycle from manufacturing to the end consumer. It also highlights innovation and sustainability in the food sector through the adoption of modern technologies, quality enhancement, and waste reduction.

He added that the event places special emphasis on empowering small and medium enterprises, showcasing successful Omani experiences and promising models in food manufacturing, while opening avenues for strategic partnerships, building trade relations, and exploring cooperation opportunities between investors and supporting entities.
