Orders of Restaurants and cafes allowed 24 hours in Oman

Muscat: Oman to allow 24 hours Food delivery during movement ban from May 8  – 15 May 2021.

In a statement from OmanVscorna official account said: This is a clarification on permitting restaurants and cafés to conduct their business during the ban of commercial activities and movement of individuals & vehicles, and the necessary controls needed when dealing with delivery orders.

Delivery Controls;

Delivery shall be made by a licensed food delivery company; in the absence of such company within the facility, an application is to be submitted to the relevant municipality, provided that the licensee is a worker in the facility or its owner.

Food delivery companies;

The company representative is committed to deliver orders within the authorised scope only.

Placing a sticker on the transporting vehicle, showing the name of the company, the duration of the license, and the geographical scope of delivery.

Mobile vendors;

Must be licensed as a mobile vendor from the competent authority

An application is submitted to the competent municipality to obtain a permit for sale and delivery and for the licensed holder only, or to contract with one of the licensed delivery companies.
