Muscat: Oman to allow restaurants, cafes to operate during commercial activities ban with limited to delivery only.

Director General of Commerce at the Ministry of commerce and Industry and Investment Promotion: Restaurants and cafes are allowed to operate during the commercial activities ban but only limited to delivery.

In a statement Omantv said: Restaurants and cafe are allowed 24 hours during the period from 8- May 15, 2021 in accordance with the regulations for delivery through licensed food delivery companies, and in the event that food delivery companies are not available at the facility site, an application is submitted to the competent municipality,
Provided that the person who is authorized to deliver is an employee or owner of the establishment, and the company’s representative must commit to deliver the requests within the authorized jurisdiction only, and should place a company sticker on the means of transportation with the name of the company on it, the duration of the license and the area jurisdiction of operations.
