    • Oman to have road tolls for trucks only

    Muscat: The Oman’s Minister of Transport and Communication and Information Technology, Eng Sad bin Hamoud al Maawali, said that so far no toll road have been implemented to date in the Sultanate of Oman.

    Reply to queries at Omani Majlis A’shura that hosted today said. There is no charging for existing routes in the event that no alternative routes are found for trucks,

    Fees will be charged by mutual consent and as part of the agreement.

    Alternative roads will not cause any financial burdens for citizens, and the focus will be on trucks only.
