Oman to host International Solid Waste Association World Congress 2023

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman will host the day after tomorrow, Monday, the International Solid Waste Association World Congress 2023 conference, which focuses on the circular economy and sustainable resource management.

As the first experience in the Middle East and North Africa region, the conference highlights global work towards a zero-emissions future by providing a unique platform for sharing knowledge and best practices in the field of circular economy and sustainable resource management.

The three-day conference, organized by the Omani Environmental Services Holding Company “Be’ah,” aims to facilitate the transition towards a more efficient future in the use of resources and sustainability.

The conference includes a number of workshops that address the global trend towards a zero-emissions future, presenting technologies and tools that contribute to transformation and development in this field, and exchanging knowledge and opportunities among participants to explore advanced technologies, policy frameworks and successful studies that demonstrate the potential of the circular approach in waste management.

It is noteworthy that the 2023 International Waste Management Association conference in Muscat seeks to move the global movement towards an emissions-free future through innovative waste management strategies in accordance with the principles of the circular economy and sustainable resource management in the Middle East and North Africa region and beyond.
