Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion(MoCIIP), in cooperation with the government and private sectors, will launch 18 new investment opportunities in the tourism and waste management sectors on (Sunday) at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center.

The inauguration ceremony is sponsored by H.H. Salem bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, and in the presence of a number of their Excellencies, CEOs of private sector companies, businessmen and investors.

These opportunities come in partnership with the Muscat National Development and Investment Company “ASAS”, the Oman Tourism Development Company “Omran”, the Oman Environmental Holding Company “be’ah” and the “Jabal Bausher Heights Real Estate Development Company”, where feasibility studies and market assessment studies are available for some investment opportunities.

Through these initiatives and plans, MoCIIP aims to attract qualitative investments in the sectors of economic diversification, create the appropriate environment for the success and development of investments, empower the private sector and motivate it to invest, in addition to contributing to increasing the proportion of foreign direct investment in the gross domestic product and promoting the Sultanate of Oman as a promising investment destination.
