Muscat: The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) is organizing the first annual weather enthusiasts forum on July 17, at the authority’s headquarters in Muscat, to enhance communication with them and identify their talents in the various fields of meteorology, with 250 participants from weather enthusiasts in the Sultanate of Oman participating.
The forum includes a dialogue session with His Excellency Engineer Nayef bin Ali Al-Abri, President of the Civil Aviation Authority.
This forum comes within the initiative of the Omani Friends of Meteorology, through which the Civil Aviation Authority seeks to embrace weather enthusiasts and meteorologists by holding an annual forum, providing training workshops in the field, and conducting joint awareness meetings between meteorologists and weather enthusiasts in various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman to spread the culture of weather and climate And other aspects that enhance interest in this category of society.
