The main committee to survey the sighting of the crescent of the month of Dhul-Hijjah for the year 1444 AH will meet tomorrow evening, Sunday, at the General Court of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
The meeting of the committee is chaired by His Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Saeed Al Maamari, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, and the membership of His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, the Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, His Excellency Eng. Bin Salem Al-Akhzmi is a judge at the Supreme Court, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Sattar Al-Kamali is a judge at the Supreme Court, and His Eminence Sheikh Muhammad bin Salem Al-Nahdi is a judge at the Supreme Court.
The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs called on citizens and residents to investigate the vision of the crescent, in cooperation with field teams in the states, or to communicate with sub-committees in the offices of Their Excellencies the governors.
