Muscat: In celebration of Muscat as the Arab Digital Capital 2022, an agreement was signed here today to institute a drone delivery service in the Governorate of muscat.
The service, introduced in cooperation with UV Robotics a firm specialized in 4IR and drones will enable Muscat inhabitants to make orders for prompt airlifted deliveries and overcome geographic and topographic challenges in residential quarters inaccessible by vehicles.
The service reflects the efforts undertaken by the Governorte of Muscat to domesticate modern technologies and bolster the logistics sector in a manner that complements supply chains and generalizes the system of drones in the Sultanate of Oman.
