Oman to vaccinate kids age 5-12 against Covid-19 from November

Muscat: Oman’s Supreme Committee has approved third dose of the vaccine to some groups to enhance the level of protection of the groups most vulnerable to coronavirus disease. The Ministry of Health (MOH) will announce the target groups and the approved plan for that.

The committee also agreed to vaccinate children from the age of five to twelve, starting from the first week of November 2021.

The committee decided to allow students of grades (5-11) to receive 100% direct education in all schools, starting from the beginning of November 2021.
