Oman Tourism closes a Hotel for Covid violations

Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism announced in a statement, the closure of The Chedi Muscat Hotel for the approved time period, in addition to the applying the penalties, after cases were confirmed as a result of non-compliance with the implementation of the preventive measures to be applied…

The ministry said within the framework of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism’s follow-up to tourist and hotel facilities and travel and tourism offices in cooperation and coordination with the relevant government agencies to ensure the implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee concerned with managing the consequences of the virus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism once again calls upon all tourist and hotel establishments and travel and tourism offices to fully comply with the decisions issued by the Supreme Committee and the Ministry of Health, and that it is continuing to follow up and monitor all facilities and take everything that ensures the safety of tourist facilities.
