Oman, United Kingdom Sign Mutual Defense Agreement

Rear Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, and Lieutenant General Tony Radican, Chief of the British Defense Staff, signed the Executive Order of the Mutual Defense Agreement between the Sultanate of Oman and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, at the headquarters of the Royal Military College Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.

The signing of the executive order of the joint defense agreement comes as a continuation of the efforts of the two countries to enhance the historical relations of cooperation between them in a number of fields, including the military field, in addition to the keenness of the leaderships of the two friendly countries to deepen the bonds of close relations in a way that achieves the common national goals of the two countries.
