Manama: The Omani national volleyball team will participate in the 23rd Arab Men’s Volleyball Championship hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain from October 29 to November 11, with the participation of 8 Arab teams divided into two groups.

The draw, which was held this evening in the Kingdom of Bahrain, placed our national team in Group One, along with the teams of Iraq, Tunisia and Bahrain. Our national team will play its first match against Tunisia, the second match against Bahrain, and the third match against Iraq. The second group included the teams of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Jordan.

The tournament will be played in a single-round league system, with the first and second teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals, while the teams ranked third and fourth will play for places from fifth to eighth.

It is worth noting that the Sultanate of Oman team achieved third place and the bronze medal in the previous tournament, while the Egyptian team won first place and the Bahraini team won second place.
