    Muscat: Emergency services in Oman have asked people to exercise caution as heavy rains are expected to lash the Sultanate of Oman today Thursday 2 May.

    Met said: Formation and flow of rainy thunderstorm cells on the coasts and desert of Dhofar with rainfall of varying intensity. Cumulus rain clouds flowed over parts of the governorates of Al-Buraimi, Al-Dhahirah, Musandam, North Al-Batinah, and parts of South Al-Batinah and Muscat.
