    MUSCAT: Given the current weather conditions affecting the Sultanate of Oman, it is essential for business owners and their representatives to take the following steps:

    1. Stay updated with official weather alerts and ensure employees are informed.

    2. Secure lightweight equipment in outdoor areas.

    3. Ensure the security of lifting equipment and cranes.

    4. Advise employees to remain indoors and avoid low-lying areas during adverse weather.

    5. Consider postponing non-essential driving and work-related trips.

    6. Pause all excavation work until weather conditions improve.

    7. Temporarily halt operations in outdoor areas.

    8. Ensure proper storage and safety measures for chemicals and hazardous materials.

    9. Avoid elevated areas and scaffolding during adverse weather.

    10. Warn employees against risky behaviour, such as crossing wadis. Share emergency contact numbers with employees in case of any emergency.
