Muscat: Temperature hits 50 degrees in Sohar
In a statement Oman meteorology said: Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate’s governorates, with chance of convective clouds developments over al Hajar Mountains towards afternoon. Dust rising is expected over desert and open areas. Chances of later night to early morning low level clouds or fog along parts of the coasts of Arabian Sea.
The temperatures in the Wilayat of Seeb are 33/45 and in the Wilayat of Salalah 27/31.
The highest temperature expected today is 50 in Sohar and Suwaiq, and the lowest is 18 degrees in Jabal Shams.
