Muscat: Trough to continue its effects on Friday and Saturday with chances of rainfall of varying intensity over parts of Oman.

MeT Said: The latest forecasts and analyses from the National Early Warning Center for Multiple Hazards indicate the continuity of the effect of a trough over the Sultanate of Oman today Thursday and lasts until Saturday with ad- vection and formation of clouds and thundershowers associated with hail and fresh winds and flow of wadis. The severety of the weather condition today is expected over the governorates of Al Buraimi, Al Dhahirah, Al Dakhiliyah, North Al Batinah, South Al Batinah, Muscat, North Al Sharqi- yah, Al Wusta and Dhofar and is expected to last until tomorrow’s morning

The trough is expected to continue its effects on Friday and Saturday with chances for rainfall of varying intensity over the governorates of South Al Shargiyah, Al Wusta, Dhofar, and over Al Hajar mountains and the adjoining ares
