Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman welcomed the start of the process of unloading oil from the floating reservoir “Safer” anchored off the coast of Yemen, and avoiding an environmental disaster in the coasts, territorial waters of Yemen and the Red Sea, praising the efforts of the United Nations and the cooperation of the Yemeni parties and the international community to transport more From one million barrels of oil to the new tanker “Yemen”.
In a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, the Sultanate of Oman expressed hope that this would contribute to reaching solutions acceptable to the parties on the various issues of settling the Yemeni conflict through dialogue between the various Yemeni political forces under the auspices of the United Nations.
