Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman affirmed that the Security Council’s resolution issued today regarding the Gaza Strip constitutes welcome progress, but it does not meet the broad international consensus calling for a ceasefire, calling for the need to ensure the continuous and effective flow of humanitarian and relief aid to the entire Strip.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Sultanate of Oman renewed its call on the Security Council to carry out its responsibilities in implementing all its resolutions related to the Arab-Israeli conflict in order to achieve a just, comprehensive and lasting peace, based on the two-state solution and ending the illegal Israeli occupation of Arab lands.
