Oman wins Wins 6 Awards in the Arab Radio and Television Festival Awards in Tunisia

Tunisia: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Information and private media institutions, won 6 awards at the Arab Radio and Television Festival in its 24th session, under the slogan “Supporting Palestine,” which concluded its work today in Tunisia.

The Sultanate of Oman Radio won the second place award for the radio drama “The Epic of Salut” in the epic drama category, the second place award for the radio work “Our Health” in the health programmes category, and the second place award for the radio programme “Suspected and Mismatched” in the educational programmes category (school dropouts).

Al-Wisal Radio won two awards, the first being the second prize in the parallel competitions category for the “First” variety program, and the second prize in the health programs category for the “Healthy Life” program.

The Sultanate of Oman Television won the second place award (shared) for the television program “Ubadah” in the general documentary films and programs category. The festival’s competitions in its current session were distributed between television and radio competitions, as well as others allocated to radio and television organizations that are members of the union for distribution via digital platforms.

The festival aims to contribute to the development of Arab radio and television production and raise its level in a way that meets the aspirations of the member bodies and the principles for which they work, and to monitor innovative and serious trends in Arab radio and television production.
