Oman: Workshop Held on Improving Teacher Preparation Programmes

Muscat: A workshop was held here today to discuss the project of improving the efficiency of teacher preparation programmes in public and private higher education establishments.

The workshop outlined the project’s preparation phases, related challenges and international best practices for improving such programmes.

The technical team of the project comprises representatives from various entities including the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, the Ministry of Education, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), Dhofar University, the University of Nizwa, Sohar University and A’Sharqiyah University.

The workshop’s opening ceremony was held under the patronage of Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
