Oman wraps up Pan Arab Games with 14 medals

Algeria: The national teams ended their participation in the Arab Games hosted by the Republic of Algeria from 5 to 15 July, with the participation of more than 3,800 athletes representing 22 Arab countries across 22 types of sports, and the teams won 14 medals in this session.

The 14 medals came to the Sultanate of Oman in this session, with the national athletics team winning 6 colored medals (two gold, one silver and three bronze), where the national team player Mohammed Al-Saadi won the silver medal in the 200-meter race, while the player Salem Al-Yarubi won the bronze medal in the jumping competition. The relay team won the first place and the gold medal, Salem Al-Yarubi won the bronze medal in the triple jump competition, while the star of our national team Barakat Al-Harthy scored a bronze medal in the 100-meter race, and the player Fatek bin Abdul Ghafour Beit Jaaboub won the first place and the gold medal in the competition high jump In athletics competitions for people with disabilities, Qusai Al-Rawahi won the silver medal in the 100-meter race, in his first Arab participation, recording a personal achievement in his name in the Arab Championships.
