Oman-Yemen Investment Forum begins in Salalah

Salalah: The Oman-Yemen Investment Forum kicked off today at Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah.

The event highlights means of boosting trade and economic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Yemen, as well as available investment opportunities for Yemeni businesspeople. It also highlighted the matter of facilitating investment for Yemeni companies in Oman.

Moreover, the opening of the forum was held under the auspices of HH Sayyid Marwan Turki Al Said, Governor of Dhofar, at the presence of Mohammed Hizam Al Ashwal, Minister of Industry and Trade of Yemen.

The two-day forum is organizes by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in the Governorate of Dhofar in cooperation with office of the Governor of Dhofar.

The event highlights the investment milieu in the Sultanate of Oman and promising sectors that are targeted by Oman Vision 2040, including converting industries, agriculture, fisheries, logistic services, education, research and innovation. – ONA
