Omani citizens can obtain entry visa to Syria at border crossings

Muscat: The Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Muscat has announced that citizens of the Sultanate of Oman can obtain an entry visa to the Syria through the border crossings of the Arab Republic.

Dr. Idris Maya, Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Sultanate of Oman, said that citizens of the Sultanate of Oman wishing to visit Syria can obtain the necessary visa for this directly through the border crossings upon their arrival in Syria for any reason.

The Ambassador pointed out that this step reflects the depth of fraternal relations between the Syrian Arab Republic and the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, and in implementation of the recommendations of the joint governmental committee that was held in Muscat on July 12 and 13, and to do everything that would raise the economic cooperation relations, and commercial and tourism exchange between the two brotherly countries to the level of their relations.

His Excellency stressed that it is not necessary to visit any of the Syrian embassies or consulates abroad to obtain an entry visa, and that the embassy in Muscat is fully prepared to answer any inquiry related to this issue or any other, and to provide all facilities to the Omani brothers who wish to visit Syria for any reason.
