Muscat: The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth will organize the Omani Culture Festival for the year 2023, during the period from 19 to 22 March, with the participation of a number of poets and guests from inside and outside the Sultanate of Oman.
The festival includes a group of events, including the field of poetry in both its popular and classical poetry, and folk arts. The first events come in the poetry sessions, in both its parts, popular and classical poetry, during which the qualified poetic texts will be recited through the jury to select the best entries. Sixteen Omani poets will participate in the festival, in addition to poets from the Gulf and Arab countries.
As for the Omani folklore event, the folklore groups qualified to participate will present their artistic paintings that represent some of the Omani arts from various governorates during the festival period, by selecting twelve Omani folklore troupes.
