    • Omani documentary ‘Al Zeeg’ wins three awards at international film festival in India

    New Delhi: The Omani documentary film “Al Zeeg” finally won three awards at the “Diamond Cut” festival in the Republic of India, which are for “Best Cinematography, Best Actor, and Best Show.

    ” The film “Al Zeeg” is produced by the Omani Film Society, and it reviews the relationship of the Omani with the profession of cultivation and manufacturing of Omani red sugar. It also deals with the human, economic and social aspects of this profession, and documents some important aspects by those concerned in the competent authorities.

    It was filmed in several states in the Sultanate of Oman. Including Nizwa, Bahla, Al Hamra and Manah. The film won several awards in various Arab and international festivals, and was selected to participate in a number of international and local festivals and events.
