Omani surgeon back from medical mission says his ‘heart and soul’ remain with children in Gaz

Muscat: Omani dr. Aiman Al Salmi, has returned to the homeland after spending more than 15 days helping the injured in Gaza Strip.

Dr. Aiman Al Salmi, Plastic surgeon at Khawla hospital said in his official account in X platform: “Thanks to God and his success, I arrived home safe. I reiterate my thanks and gratitude to all of you for your continued support and prayers.”

Al Salmi arrived to Gaza Strip on February 19, 2024 via Rafah border after coordinating with international organization, he posted: ”Thank everyone who congratulated me on my arrival to Gaza, and I know for sure that if you had the opportunity, you would have been here with me. I have all the love and appreciation for each individual. How honored I am to represent the loyal Omani people here in Palestine.”

During his stay in Gaza of more than 15 days, Dr. Aiman Al-Salmi participated in performing a number of surgical operations on those injured as a result of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, as the number of operations he performed daily exceeded 10, according to him.

Also he has shared scenes of the humanitarian conditions of the people of Gaza in hospitals and camps through his account on X platform.

Yesterday, Dr Al Salmi also posted: “My brothers, I would like to reassure you that the amounts sent to me as aid for our people in Gaza have been distributed to them, thank God. May God accept your charity and prayers.”
