Muscat: Omani fans wishing to travel to the Republic of Iraq to attend the national team’s match in the Asian qualifiers have been exempted from visa fees, said the Oman Football Association (OFA).
OFA said in a statement :”With reference to the statement issued by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Baghdad, we would like to inform the fans of our national team wishing to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification against the Iraqi national team on September 5, that the fans have been exempted from entry visa fees to Iraq for those arriving by land and air to Basra Governorate. The exemption is valid from September, 2 to September 5, 2025. “
