London: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, called for the need to compensate the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip for the loss of innocent lives and those affected by the Israeli war on the Strip, and the need to make a collective and comprehensive effort to alleviate the suffering of the painful humanitarian crisis facing the brotherly Palestinian people.

In an interview with the American CNN network on the “Connecting the World with Becky Anderson” programme, His Excellency touched on the critical and tragic situation in the Gaza Strip, calling on the international community to play a vital role in securing sustainable peace and taking quick measures to achieve it, and the urgent need for a unified and bold approach to peace. and humanitarian relief.

Highlighting the complexity of regional dynamics, particularly the escalating tensions in the Red Sea, Sayyid Badr emphasised the importance of inclusive dialogue involving all stakeholders. He underscored the necessity of engaging with those holding divergent views to make genuine progress. Reaffirming Oman’s steadfast commitment to regional peace and stability, Sayyid Badr urged global leaders and stakeholders to join concerted efforts to address these challenges with courage and determination.
