Omani Hajj delegation prepares to receive pilgrims of Oman in camps of Mina and Arafat

Mecca: The Omani Hajj delegation is preparing to receive the pilgrims coming from the Sultanate of Oman to the Holy Land in the Mina and Arafat camps to perform the Hajj rituals for this year.

Mohammed bin Ali Al Maskari, deputy head of the delegation supervising the Hajj companies, said in a statement to the Oman News Agency: The mission has received the camps designated for pilgrims of the Sultanate of Oman in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah, and the Omani Hajj delegation has started organizing the camps and they will be distributed to the companies according to the number of pilgrims.

He added: The mission has completed all the necessary preparations to receive the pilgrims who will come to Mina on the morning of Tarwiyah, the next Monday, corresponding to the eighth of Dhu al-Hijjah, in coordination with the contracting parties to provide various services.

He explained that the camps include the appropriate requirements for pilgrims, pointing out that the mission has handed over the Mina and Arafat camps to the contractors of Hajj companies at the mission’s headquarters in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

He confirmed that the team measuring the readiness of the Mina camp in the mission inspected the safety procedures in the camp, and it was confirmed that the entrances and exits of the camp in Mina were well secured, with indicative panels posted throughout the camp.

He added that the Omani Hajj mission provided all the capabilities and needs for Omani pilgrims throughout the period of performing their rituals and until their return to the Sultanate of Oman.
