Omani Hajj team heads to Medina to provide services

Makkah Al-Mukarramah: A team from the Omani Hajj mission headed to Medina on Saturday; to provide the services of the mission to the Omani pilgrims coming to the city, headed by Abdulaziz bin Masoud Al-Ghafri, deputy head of the mission.

The deputy head of the Omani Hajj delegation said in a statement to the Omani News Agency: The team will start, upon its arrival in Medina, providing preaching, guidance and health services, and members of the delegation supervising the Hajj companies will carry out their field visits to check on the Omani pilgrims who have arrived in Medina and meet them in places. their residence, and ensuring their access to services in accordance with the terms of the contract between them and the Hajj companies.

He indicated that the team will stay from the 28th day of Dhu al-Qi`dah until the 4th of Dhu al-Hijjah, and that most of the pilgrims then head to Makkah Al-Mukarramah to perform the rituals of Hajj.

He pointed out that more than 60 percent of the pilgrims coming from the Sultanate of Oman go to Medina to visit the Prophet’s Mosque, before heading to Makkah Al-Mukarramah to perform the Hajj.

It is worth noting that the mission team in Madina will provide integrated services, as it was formed from all service delegations, and includes Fatwa and Religious Guidance delegation, the delegation supervising Hajj companies, the medical delegation, the Royal Oman Police delegation, the administrative and financial delegation, and the scout delegation.
