Omani Holy Qur’an Care Association organizes its annual ceremony

Seeb: Omani Holy Qur’an Care Association organizes today its annual ceremony for this year under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Saeed Al-Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.

The ceremony included a visual presentation that included an expanded introduction to the association and its Qur’anic centers, and a presentation of its most prominent achievements, including the competition for the most beautiful recitation in its (second) edition, the competition for standards of excellence among the association’s centers in its (second) edition, and the official announcement of two new centers for the association, namely: the Salalah Qur’anic Center and Musannah Qur’anic Centre.

Mr. Dr. Ahmed bin Saeed Al Busaidi (specialist director at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, and member of the association’s board of directors) gave a speech in which he spoke about the greatness of the Holy Qur’an, its importance, the necessity of taking care of it, some of the efforts made in serving the Qur’an, and the association’s role in that.

He added that the association, with the participation of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, was concerned with taking care of the Holy Qur’an and serving its bearers.

It prepared plans to achieve the goals in accordance with regulations from the Ministry of Social Development, which has significant efforts in caring for, developing and developing associations.
