Muscat: The innovator, Manar bint Hamad Al-Jawhouriya, a student at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) in Al-Musanna, Governorate of South Al Batinah, and the CEO of Plamour, says: The royal flement project, which is to make ink for 3D printers from marine algae, aims to find a solution to the carbon-plastic problem.
She added that the project achieved many awards at various levels, whether locally, regionally or internationally, and qualified among 20 companies in the Arab world for the final stage in the innovation competition in the time of Corona, and represented the Sultanate of Oman in the Stars of Science competition.
She indicated that the project was granted a patent by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion, as well as a product health test from Sultan Qaboos University and a product test from Anotek and the “3D factory.”
