    • Omani-Iranian Military Friendship Committee Holds 18th Annual Meeting

    Tehran: The Omani-Iranian Military Friendship Joint Committee held its 18th annual meeting on Monday in Tehran.

    The Omani side at the meeting was chaired by Brigadier General Hamid bin Abdullah Al Balushi, Assistant Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces for Operations and Planning and Chairman of the Omani side of the Joint Omani-Iranian Military Friendship Committee, while the Iranian side was chaired by Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Ahdi, head of the Iranian side.

    The meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda, which would contribute to strengthening existing cooperation in the military fields between the two friendly countries, and the activities and events emanating from this committee.

    On the sidelines of the meeting, the Omani military delegation, headed by Brigadier General Hamid bin Abdullah Al Balushi, Assistant Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces for Operations and Planning, met with the head of the Omani side of the Joint Omani-Iranian Military Friendship Committee, Brigadier Mahdi Farhi, Deputy Minister of Defense and Support of the Iranian Armed Forces.

    During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed. Topics that would serve the progress of the Joint Omani-Iranian Military Friendship Committee. The Omani military delegation, headed by Brigadier General Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning, also met with Brigadier General Pilot Hamid Wahidi, Commander of the Iranian Air Force. During the meeting, a number of military topics were discussed.
