A citizen donates to release 51 cases from Al Dhahirah Governorate as part of the Fak Kurba initiative
Muscat: A citizen from Al-Dhahirah Governorate donated for the eighth year in a row to release 51 cases that met the conditions of the initiative to end the distress of humanity in Al-Dhahirah courts in its eleventh edition.
The eleventh edition of the Fak Kurba initiative, which was launched on the third of this month, comes as a continuation of the efforts of the Omani Lawyers Association towards the release of those imprisoned or against whom detention orders have been issued in civil, commercial, labor and Sharia cases.
It is noteworthy that during its past ten editions, the initiative was able to release more than 5,890 cases from various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, and in its current version, it targets about 1,500 cases.
