Omani Pilgrims in Mina Exchange Eid Al Adha Greetings

Makkah Al Mukarramah: Omani pilgrims staying at Mina camp exchanged Eid Al Adha greetings amid an atmosphere of tranquility and joy following the completion of the main Hajj rituals.

Pilgrims celebrated the blessed occasion by preparing traditional Omani dishes and wearing authentic Omani attire after leaving the state of Ihram.

Kamal Hamid Al Muslihi, one of the Omani pilgrims, said that Omani pilgrims are keen to preserve inherited customs and traditions during the Eid days in Mina by exchanging greetings and preparing popular traditional foods in celebration of completing the Hajj pilgrimage.

He added that the camps of Omani pilgrims witness a strong presence of social traditions during the days of Tashreeq, including serving Omani sweets and coffee and exchanging visits between camps in a scene reflecting the values of generosity and brotherhood within Omani society.

For his part, Ahmed Salem Al Shariqi said that an atmosphere of peace and spirituality prevailed throughout Mina camp, while pilgrims raised Eid takbirs and prayers in celebration of Eid Al Adha and the completion of Hajj rituals.

The Omani Hajj Mission annually prepares Mina camps to provide pilgrims from the Sultanate of Oman with suitable services and facilities during the days of Tarwiyah and Tashreeq, enabling them to perform rituals with ease and comfort while observing all safety and organizational requirements.
