    • Omani poet Hilalah Al Hamadani passes away

    Muscat: The Omani poet Hilalah Al-Hamdani, the star of “The Million’s Poet” poetry competition who took part in its second edition in Abdu Dhabi passes away on Wednesday early morning after a stroke

    Hilalah suffered a stroke three days after giving birth to her newborn.

    Al-Hamdaniya was influenced by her father, who writes poetry in both parts. Al-Fasih and Al-Nabati,  She is the first Omani poet to participate in the Million’s Poet programme, and reached the advanced stages.

    She has been also popular as a radio host hosting in Oman
