Omani students clinch 9 medals at Gulf Olympiad in Bahrain

Manama: The Sultanate of Oman won (9) medals in the ninth Gulf Mathematics Olympiad and the first Gulf Chemistry Olympiad held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, where the Sultanate’s students achieved two silvers and four bronzes in the Mathematics Olympiad, which were won by Manar bint Muhammad Al Dhahliya and Aisha Bint Abdul Qadir Al-Maamariya, Rayan Bint Abdullah Al-Kaabi, Al-Baljaa Bint Zahran from Hebrew, and the silver medal went to Al-Waqqas Bin Mahmoud Al-Khadouri and Reem Bint Nabhan Al-Azzwaniya.

Student Jumana bint Azzan Al-Amriya won the bronze medal in the Chemistry Olympiad, and Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Habsi and Al-Rabee bin Habib Al-Dhafri won the silver medal.

In a statement by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Khamis Ambusaidy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Education, during his attendance at the results announcement ceremony, he said: “I am very happy that most of our students participating in the Ninth Gulf Mathematics Olympiad and the First Gulf Chemistry Olympiad won bronze and silver medals, and I am optimistic about our students’ ability to compete in these Olympiads.” At the Gulf and international level.
