Minister of Education hails royal support for education sector and great care and attention it receives

Muscat: Her Excellency Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed Al Shaibaniyah, Minister of Education, expressed deep thanks and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik for the great care and attention that the school education sector has received and for dedicating the 24th February of each year is an official day off for all teachers, male and female, and those holding related teaching and administrative positions in public and private schools, in appreciation of their sincere contributions in performing the trust entrusted to them.

In her speech on the occasion of Omani Teacher’s Day, Her Excellency praised the efforts made by male and female teachers and their dedication to performing their educational mission to raise students in a sound manner and prepare them to contribute to building the comprehensive development process in this dear country.

Her Excellency also appreciated the generous congratulations extended by the honourable lady, spouse of His Majesty the Sultan – to the builders of this nation, male and female teachers, on this happy occasion, and her deep appreciation for the efforts made by the administrative bodies and all workers in the educational field.
