OCCI Reviews Industrial Opportunities and Technologies at Expo Indonesia

Jakarta: A trade delegation from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) today began an official visit to the Republic of Indonesia to explore investment opportunities and discuss areas of cooperation with representatives of the Indonesian business community.

During the visit, the delegation reviewed successful experiences across several key economic sectors in Indonesia and discussed prospects for enhancing bilateral trade and investment cooperation.

Zahir bin Mohammed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the OCCI branch in Al Buraimi Governorate, said that the visit provided an important opportunity to strengthen relations with industrial establishments and entrepreneurs at the international level. He noted that the delegation studied a range of modern practices and successful models that could contribute to developing Oman’s local industrial sectors.

Al Kaabi affirmed that such visits help open new avenues for establishing strategic partnerships that support business growth and boost the competitiveness of the private sector in global markets.

The OCCI delegation also toured Expo Indonesia, held in Jakarta, where they reviewed the latest technologies in production, logistics, and industrial automation.
