Omani Trade Delegation OCCI Visits Pakistan

Muscat: An Omani trade delegation headed by Eng. Ridha Juma Al Saleh, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) visited the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,

The delegation, comprising representatives from the private sector, sought boosting trade and investment cooperation between private sector institutions and ways to increase the volume of trade between both countries.

On the sidelines of the visit, Eng. Ridha met with Eng.Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Chief Minister of Karachi.

The meeting reviewed the investment opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman as well as the facilities and incentives provided to investors.

The meeting was attended by members of OCCI and the Omani trade delegation. It was also attended by Pakistani businessmen representing several commercial sectors.

Omani imports from Pakistan stood at RO 62.3 million in 2019, while the value of Omani exports to Pakistan amounted to RO 56.1 million.
