Muscat: According to the data issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) the total number of Omani employees working in the private sector exceeded 270,000 by the end of January 2022, compared to 266,799 Omanis in 2021.
The data indicated that the number of Omani employees whose wages are 325 – less than 400 Omani riyals constituted the vast majority with 79,195 Omanis, followed by the wage category between 400 to less than 500 Omani riyals with 50,867 Omanis.
