Muscat: Omanisation of Business Activities at As’Seeb Central Market announced
In the statement Muscat Municipality said: Proceeding from the Omanisation programme enacted by the government to replace expatriate workers with trained Omani personnel, and based on the Muscat Municipality pursuit to enhance the business environment for youthful Omanis, it has been decided :
1, Limiting the engagement of business activities in As’Seeb Central Market (belonging to Muscat Municipality) to Omanis only, effective January 1st 2022.
2, All holders of contracts with Muscat Municipality must correct their situation as of the date hereof.
3, Muscat Municipality and the Ministry of Labour call on everyone to cooperate fully to support Omani cadres by implementing this decision.
