Oman’s Al Amerat Club Withdraws From Beach Club World Cup 2024 Over Zionist Participation

Muscat: Oman’s Al Amerat Club Withdraws From 2024 Beach Club World Cup Over Zionist Participation

In a statement Al Amerat Club said: In the framework of maintaining religious values and firm adherence to sporting and humanitarian principles, and with all that supports the Palestinian cause.

The Al Amerat Sports and Cultural Club announces withdrawal from the Beach Club World Champions Cup 2024 in Italy due to the presence of a team representing the Zionist entity in the private group and the championship in general.

This decision comes in accordance with our rejection of the practices of this entity, which are contrary to the humanitarian and ethical principles we believe in, despite the penalties and penal actions imposed on this withdrawal by the International Football Federation

We are committed to supporting the Palestinian cause, and we will work on seeking opportunities to compete and represent the Sultan in other tournaments.

We are convinced that sport should be a means of understanding and cooperation among peoples, and not a tool to support or promote practices that violate human rights

Our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all who support our stand and share our vision to promote the values of humanity and peace through sport.
